Conference attendance requires the payment of a fee that will cover part of the actual costs of participation. The payment should be made online, at the time of registration. Available methods of payment are: payment card, express transfer from selected Polish banks (via PayU) and PayPal.

Invoices are issued for all payments. Invoices are sent to the email address provided when booking.

Fee exemption

Families who have just started their journey with spinal muscular atrophy – that is, those who received the SMA diagnosis in 2022 or 2023, with children who are not over 1 year old, and who are participating in the Weekend with SMA for the first time, are invited to participate in the the Conference for free. Eligible families are requested to contact the organizers before registering to receive the fee exemption code.

SMA families who are in a difficult financial situation might also be exempt from the Conference fees. In such cases, kindly reach out to the organizers before registering.

Fee costs Weekend with SMA

Participation Fees for SMA Families on June 2nd and 3rd:

• Person with SMA (regardless of age): Free of Charge
• Children under 6: Free of Charge
• Children aged 6-14 from Friday to Saturday: 100 PLN
• One Accompanying Caregiver for SMA Person from Friday to Saturday: 100 PLN
• Each Additional Accompanying Caregiver Person for SMA Person: 250 PLN
• Family Physiotherapist: 300 PLN

The fee covers participation in the lectures and meals as per the program.

Accommodation

• June 2nd and 3rd, 2023: 200 PLN per room

To book additional accommodation at the Boss Hotel, please mention the “SMA Foundation”.

Registration for Non-SMA Families:

• Participation: 489,42 PLN

This fee covers participation in the lectures and meals as per the program.

Participation Cancellation

In case of cancellation of participation in the Conference before April 15th, 2023, the organizer will return the paid amount reduced by the handling fee of 25 PLN (intended to cover the cost of the payment gateway operator and accounting expenses).

In the event of cancellation between April 15th to April 30th, 2023, the organizer will return 50% of the paid amount (which is in line with the conference venue conditions), reduced by a handling fee of 25 PLN.

In the case of cancellation on May 1st, 2023 or later, the paid fee is not eligible for refund. By May 1st, we finalize the order for accommodations and meals, and after that, we cannot cancel them anymore.
