Acommodation

Each group (family) will have one double room with double bed (or two single beds, that can be pushed together). All rooms are spacious, with a space for one or two extra beds are asked to organise themselves (e.g. foldable bed, inflatable mattress, camping mat). The Hotel can proivde the bedding. Due to those limitations, we kindly ask to plan your arrival of no more than 3 people.

There will be a limited number of three-person rooms for families with two disabled individuals.

Those needing a room on other days (e.g. the day before or after) should book directly at the BOSS Hotel, referring to their participation in the Conference.

Food and Meal Provision

As part of the Conference, all participants will be provided with meals according to the program.

The following meals will be provided to all participants during the Conference: Friday, June 2nd – dinner, Saturday, June 3rd – lunch and dinner, as well as beverages during the intermission between workshops. Both lunch and dinner will be offered in a buffet format..

Guests staying at the Hotel Boss will be provided with a buffet-style breakfast. Guests with special dietary needs (such as gluten-free or vegetarian) are kindly asked to specify this information on the registration form. Please note that individuals who follow a solely industrial diet must make arrangements for their own food.        

Building Adaptation and Accessibility

The entire conference venue is fully adapted for wheelchair users. There is one elevator located between the floors and half-floors that easily accommodates an electric wheelchair. The second elevator is located at the back of the building and allows access the residential rooms and basement from the ground floor.

The Conference room equipment also takes into account the special requirements of the participants.

Although not having specialized adaptations, the bathrooms are quite spacious and should easily allow for wheelchair entry and maneuvering. Each bathroom has a shower cabin (no bathtub). Please contact us promptly if you require an electric lift or any other bathroom equipment.

Two guest rooms on the ground floor and half-floor are specially adapted for wheelchairs. During the Conference, these will be made available for all participants to use as an adapted bathroom and changing room. Please don’t forget to bring your own towel when using the bathroom.

These rooms will have electric lifts and harnesses accessible to all. However, it is recommended that you bring your own harness for personal comfort.

Children

For the youngest, we prepare various proposals for activities aimed mainly at children up to 14 years of age. Older children of course are always welcome.

The exact program will be available soon. Workshops will be conducted by professional animators and support will be provided by our volunteers who have taken care of our youngest more than once. They does not have medical or rescue training, therefore, children requiring a specialist care are welcome with a guardian.

Parents who would like to leave their children under the care of volunteers are asked to report this in the comments of the registration form together with other valuable comments on this subject.

Internet

Free wireless internet access is available throughout the entire facility. The password can be obtained at the hotel reception.

How to arrive

The hotel is located near the South Ring Road of Warsaw (S2), making it well-connected to the major cities in the country. The drive from the Warsaw city center takes approximately 30-60 minutes depending on the time of day/traffic.

Arrival with public transport is relatively easy. At Warsaw Central Train Station, take the city bus number 521 (exact stop name: Dworzec Centralny 01), after about 50 minutes, get off at the Szachowa 01 stop. The Hotel is located approximately 900 meters from the bus stop. All buses in Warsaw are low-floor and equipped with ramps for wheelchairs.

You can also travel by train – from the Warszawa Śródmieście take the Fast Urban Train S1 (Szybka Kolej Miejska S1, SKM S1) or Mazowiecka Railway R7 to station Warszawa Wawer (approx. 30 min). The Fast Urban Trains (SKM) have usually more comfortable and modern trains. The hotel is about 800 meters from the Warszawa Miedzeszyn railway station. The Miedzeszyn railway station is accessible for wheelchair users.

Parking

Free parking is available in front of the hotel and no reservation is required. A total of over 200 parking spaces are available on the hotel’s parking lots. Please follow the instructions of the hotel security, who will direct drivers to the appropriate parking lots.
